Frankfurt, 18 - 23 March 2018. The recently concluded edition of Light + Building was characterised by important changes and many innovations positively welcomed by record visitors.

May the light embody our time?

Those who came to visit us at Light + Building will surely remember this phrase found on one of the walls of our stand. An invitation to reflect on the possibility of representing the actuality of our time through light. This question reflects the moment we are now as a company: we are working on the future of light in a conceptual way while maintaining a strong link with our craftsmanship. This is the message we wanted to bring to Frankfurt this year.

A look at the future that translates into small and big changes, starting from the new display modes that have helped us to convey the concept of the range: eight counters where you could touch entire product families like the Orma uplights, family expanded in terms of power, dimensions, optics, glaring control and application.

Among the range expansions we also find Tour. Biemission, ceiling and recessed suspension were positioned in the heart of the stand, forming the recognisable interplay of overlapping circles that characterised our pre-event communication.

Other undisputed protagonists of our presence at Light + Building, the 240 Pixie Pixel small installed in a maxi wall managed with control dmx and became an integral part of our private party, interfacing with audio and visual to create a unique and evocative show.

Frankfurt was also the occasion to present some decorative novelties such as the Honey suspension, designed by Pio and Tito Toso and the Fl@!. Together with them Diphy single leaf, candidate for the golden compass and Reflexio, the new winner of the IF Design Award.

Technology, technique, and idea are well amalgamated in the 550sqm of exhibition space, giving us the opportunity to show what we started from, what we are now and what we would like to be in a near future and not.

We hope to have been able to pass it on to the many visitors we had the opportunity to meet with pleasure in the past days.
