GV11 The Exchange

Another lighting project in Dubai by Linea Light Group. In this case, the façade lighting was taken care of in order to make the building a landmark in the financial district, thanks to the excellent lighting design able to enhance the architecture with its modern and elegant design. The installation details and luminaire specifications tailored to the nature of the building itself and the client's needs were essential in making The Exchange a unique building. A close coordination between architects, contractors and consultants to realise the lighting layout signed Linea Light Group. Descriptive and non-invasive, light was used indirectly, avoiding increasing the city's already massive light pollution. Three applications of Archiline, a linear profile characterised by high brightness and flexibility for outdoor use. The first on the walkway in front of the entrance, the second on the top floor on the outdoor pathway, both equipped with wall washer optics and a colour temperature slightly turning to warm white. The third is revealed, in RGBW, on the transparent outdoor lift to create a backlighting effect. On the main façade, to delineate the external facades, Xenia has been positioned with an 8-degree optic, chosen so as not to impair the internal use of the spaces with glare. Accompanying light points are provided by Vedette, which adds even more aesthetic emphasis thanks to their blade optics. Moving towards the externally accessible spaces, Thin66 caresses the profiles of the terraces of the residence section, giving a restful and non-invasive warm white colour thanks to its 3000K colour temperature. On the large outdoor terrace, in an environment of high glamour and elegance, countless Nicro, with blue LEDs, have been positioned, recreating a sort of walkable celestial vault. On the seats we find Archiline again and, for a contrasting scenic effect, all the greenery on the perimeter level of the terrace has been lit with 9W Gardener and 25W with antiglare. The lighting is completed by Admiral with blue LEDs and Vigilant in RGB version.
